Where we are now - 2016

July 2016

Currently LTI is operational under a Class C license in Liberia West Africa. Our claims are held in River Cess County, more specific to an area the natives call Kah Camp. For the past 2.5 years we prospected this area known to be extremely concentrated in AU gold minerals. In July of 2015, I was called by the team after finding a few outer layers of quartz gold rock. After seeing the findings, we purchased industrial rock crushing machines to crush the rock and built a workshop reservoir where we could house the water and crush rock even during the rainy seasons. In November of 2015, myself and a colleague travelled to Liberia and employed 15 men to manually dig and uncover the layers of quartz rock. After 4 months of hard labor, we uncovered rock 20feet deep and 60 feet wide. The rock was then hauled down the mountain to the workshop that was built on site and crushed. The proceeds were promising, yielding 200+grams of 22karat gold. We were able to pay the workers wages and continue to feed them for the coming months. In addition, back in January 2016, I travelled to Idaho and California to meet with several manufacturers of gold recovery mining equipment that advised me to save the black sands that were coming from our washing plant onsite. The wisdom was that since we were not using a modern recovery bowl used in fine gold rock crushing or hard rock mining operations, and so we were losing AU gold as a result. With this wisdom, I saved some black sand samples and shipped them to refineries in Arizona, Idaho, Vegas and Los Angeles. The results were unanimous that we have AU in our waste and that we are also mining Silver with one refinery indicating PGM (Platinum Group Elements).

While this is encouraging, we were advised that in addition to using machines to move and haul the dirt, there are several pieces of equipment that are needed to purchase to realize exponential growth in our recovery. At the same time, the plight of the neighboring school(s) are looking to us to assist them in building new buildings. One school has land but no money to purchase materials (less than $2,000 needed), labor force of the community is standing by. The other larger school we delivered two suitcases full of crayons, composition books, colored pencils, rulers and paper back text books are looking for additional materials as there school is growing and the teachers need stipends to teach. They are only looking for $100/month. Additionally, they were requesting farming equipment like shovels, wheel barrels etc. to cultivate their land and grow the farm to feed the kids/community and sell in the nearby community markets to generate income to sustain the school. I only mention this in the update since it is our aim to do community development with the proceeds from our operations and while we are able to do a little now, when we start industrial operations on site, we will be able to not only build schools and supply farming equipment, but also equip the schools with solar energy panels and second hand laptops and educational videos that they are ecstatic to watch since it is viewed on technology that not many in the rural areas have.

Logistically, the government is forcing us to raise our claim license(s) from a C to a B license by default. This is our goal and is just being accelerated by the Ministry of Lands and Mines and Energy bringing investors from UK and South Africa to our claim in Kah Camp and in Gatalay. They took coordinates and are planning on getting a Class B license. However, we have Class C licenses and therefore have first right of refusal to upgrade since we have been prospecting there and know the terrain, are actively working and have the proper claims/licenses etc. At this moment the greatest need is machinery that can move and haul dirt e.g., back hoe/excavator and a dump truck. A few companies who are there are willing to sell their equipment since their respective contracts have expired. I am actively working on making a deal to either purchase out right or profit share with them. With equipment on ground working for us, we can do a lot of good. The mountain is rich, the government knows it but we are going to capitalize on it and use it for the greater good. We are scheduling to travel again end of July beginning of August. Your prayers and progressive ideas are solicited.
